First official conference programme released for IMARC 2021

The first official conference programme has been released for the International Mining & Resources Conference (IMARC), which will be held in Melbourne from 25–27 October. Early-bird tickets are available until 9th July.

Recent global statistics are all pointing to an economic recovery led by the mining and resources industry – especially in Australia, where mining industry GDP increased 4.9 per cent in 2019-20, to total $202 billion.

Coupled with these positive numbers however, are the operational impacts that Covid-19 has had on the industry. Global miners and their supply chains have had to continue their ‘new-normal’ approach to smarter mining, progress ESG considerations, and work towards community and stakeholder confidence, as well as best utilise new technologies and innovation that drive sustainability and accessibility – all whilst balancing production and driving results to the bottom-line.

The task hasn’t been easy. However, through collaboration – whether that be a top-down approach from management, or strong lateral ties between miners, METS, governments, associations and stakeholders – the mining industry has set new standards and achieved some excellent OH&S, community, workforce and productivity results.

Showcasing best practice in the global mining industry

This year’s International Mining & Resources Conference (IMARC) will showcase these best practices from across the global mining and resources industry through C-level insights, case study presentations from operators, and thought leadership showcases from innovators.

The three-day conference programme will promote how the industry has performed over the global pandemic, and what is still to come.

Organisers of IMARC, Beacon Events, have just released the first official conference programme, which already features over 60 mining industry leaders. Download your copy of the conference programme here

“The only way to gain full, unlimited access to the conference programme is to register for a conference pass. Early-bird tickets are on sale now, register by 9th July to save up to $150 – register here,” the organisers said in a statement.

“Alternatively, if you would like to share your expertise on any of the topics mentioned above and gain maximum exposure for your company at Australia's most influential mining event, you can view the package options by downloading the sponsorship prospectus here

“We hope to see you at online for this year's event from 25–27 October.”
