2018MIECF 2018 – Highlights and Key Programme

The ‘Shaping of Eco-Cities for an Inclusive Green Economy’ will be the main axis of 2018MIECF – Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition – when the premier event returns from 12-14 April this year. With the aim of enhancing the development and construction of eco-cities, 2018MIECF will feature case sharing, policy analysis, technology display and business exchange towards improving people’s living standards, and developing social well-being, as well as promoting regional green economic exchanges and co-operation.

 

Main Theme:

 The main theme featuring in both the concurrently held forum and exhibition will be ‘Shaping of Eco-Cities for an Inclusive Green Economy’. Offering participants the opportunity to explore global hot topics, the event will also showcase various international solutions, thus fostering the experience of sharing and information exchange.

 

Green Forum:

The forum will explore topics including eco-city and green finance, with unrivalled presentations by world-renowned visionaries, leading companies and policymakers on corporate strategy, industry trends and policy updates on the ‘Shaping of Eco-Cities for Inclusive Green Economy’.

 

Green Showcase:

Gathering environmental related products and solutions, the exhibition features technology and case-studies for eco-cities and the development of green finance.

Green Business Co-operation Day:

Business leaders and representatives will exchange ideas to promote environmental co-operation through strategy sharing, alongside a Networking Cocktail & Signing Ceremony.

 

Networking Events:

Tailor-made networking opportunities with government officials, policymakers and industry practitioners on environmental trends and updates. Dedicated ‘Green Matching’ service with online business-matching platform to deliver results.

 

Green Public Day:

The final day welcomes the general public to the show, with a variety of featured activities to promote the environmentally-friendly living concept and a low-carbon lifestyle.
