2018MIECF – Shaping of Eco-Cities for Inclusive Green Economy

Every year, government officials, policymakers and environmental industry players from all over the world come together at MIECF for business, technology and information exchange. MIECF, which returns from 12-14 April this year, offers the most effective communication platform for the environmental industry, promoting industry development within the Belt and Road region, Pan-Pearl River Delta region, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Portuguese-speaking countries and the European countries.
2018MIECF Keynote Speaker Ms. Christiana Figueres is a world authority on global climate change and was the Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC from 2010-2016. Ms. Christiana Figueres brought together national and subnational governments, corporations and activists, financial institutions and communities of faith, think tanks and technology providers, NGOs and parliamentarians, to jointly deliver the historic Paris Agreement on climate change, in which 195 sovereign nations agreed on a collaborative path forward to limit future global warming to below 2°.
