A first look at this year’s revamped IMARC conference

Following several months of in-depth conversations with industry, organisers of this year's international Mining & Resources Conference (IMARC) have unveiled a reimagined programme that is more ambitious than ever, featuring six concurrent conferences across three-days.
The over-arching focus of this year’s IMARC – Australia's most influential mining event, running from 17–19 October at Melbourne Showgrounds – will be on exploring how companies can:
• minimise disruptions and build resilience,
• progress ESG and strengthen social value,
• embrace technology and innovation,
• redesign their workforces and culture, and
• accelerate the energy transition.

New 3-day Energy Transition conference
As the industry concentrates on reaching net zero, the brand new three-day Energy Transition conference will discuss climate resilience and decarbonisation opportunities, including powering mines with renewable energy, and the development of the critical and future facing minerals sector.
Learn from the world’s leading METS innovators
There will also be double the opportunity to learn from global Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) innovators.
The dedicated Mining Innovation conference will look at both innovation for fixed and mobile assets on mine sites, as well as best practices in mining operations and production.
Meanwhile, the Digital Technology conference will look at how digital solutions have become a key component of the strategic direction and vision of today's modern mining companies.
