Eco Wave Power’s Inna Braverman recognised amongst 2020’s top Meaningful Business Leaders

Meaningful Business – a global platform for leaders combining profit and purpose – has recognised Israeli entrepreneur Inna Braverman of Eco Wave Power (EWPG Holding AB) in its Top 100 index for 2020. The award recognises outstanding business leaders worldwide who are combining profit and purpose to help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.


The second edition of the Meaningful Business 100 (MB100) was curated by an expert panel of 16 judges, following a global nomination process. The platform received over 500 nominations from 70 countries, each scored across five key areas: Impact, Leadership, Innovation, Durability and Scope.

 

The 100 business leaders include corporate CEOs, entrepreneurs, micro-entrepreneurs, sustainability leaders, functional heads and impact investors from 34 countries. Industries that dominate the list include agriculture, education, healthcare and technology.


Commenting on the MB100, Tom Lytton-Dickie, Founder and CEO of Meaningful Business said his organisation was “delighted” to recognise Inna Braverman as part of the Meaningful Business 100 for 2020. “In what has been a challenging year for everyone, the MB100 provides an inspiring reminder of the brilliant work being done around the world to solve the biggest issues we are facing today,” he stated.


Rethinking electricity generation


Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power said she was very honoured to receive the award and recognition for Eco Wave Power’s work in the wave energy sector. “We always strive to make the world a better place by rethinking how we generate our electricity. The inclusion of Ms Braverman in the new Meaningful Business 100 (MB100) list of leaders represents the latest in an array of accolades and recognition for Eco Wave Power. The firm has been recognised as a ‘Pioneering Technology’ by Israel’s Ministry of Energy and was labelled as an ‘Efficient Solution’ by the Solar Impulse Foundation. https://solarimpulse.com/ Furthermore, EWP’s project in Gibraltar has received funding from the European Union Regional Development Fund and from the European Commission’s HORIZON2020 framework programme. The company was also recently recognised by the United Nations, receiving the ‘Climate Action Award’ – granted to the company during COP25 gathering in Madrid, Spain.
