In the era of digitalisation, no boundaries should hold business connections. In response to the pandemic-related travel constraints in Europe, BGS Group has therefore decided to move the Transportation Oil & Gas Congress 2020 (TOGC) to the brand new BGS online platform.  

BGS Online serves as the platform for TOGC 2020, which will be held from Monday 16th to Tuesday 17th November. 

Among already confirmed participants are Eni, Elinoil, OMV, ADNOC, Total, McDermott, ICGB, Gazprom, Snam, Saipem, and TANAP,  alongside other oil & gas majors, pipeline operators, and EPCs.

Designed and created by BGS Group, the online platform combines many years of experience in event organisation with the latest IT technologies, allowing BGS Group to organise a full scope Congress rather than a regular webinar or online conference. The fully interactive platform will bring even more benefits and generate more leads than an offline congress.

Features of virtual TOGC 2020

TOGC’s organisers emphasized that the virtual Congress would retain all the main features of TOGC’s classical, high-level Congress:

• It provides a Congress experience with less cost and less risk by keeping high-level networking with the same power of face-to-face interactions;

• After moving to online, the number of VIP delegates and pipeline operators at the Congress has risen to 50 per cent because the online venue has no limits to the number of participants; 

• At the online Congress, compared to the offline version of the event, the number of possible contacts could be doubled, and B2B meetings tripled due to the possibilities opened from the digital platform format – for example, simultaneous chats with several people and virtual meeting rooms.

The platform has already gathered participants from the whole world in terms of the ‘Petrochemical and Refining Congress: Europe’ held in September, and the ‘Epoch of Sustainability: International Upstream Congress’ in October.
