The largest energy event of its kind, the three-day digital ‘All Things Energy Forum’ (2–4 June 2021) will engage the entire spectrum of the energy industry, with a focus on economy and innovation within the context of a pandemic, alongside international politics, energy trade, environmental policies, and state-of-the-art technology.

Engaging the entire spectrum of the energy market – from producers to consumers, and from technology developers to service providers, as well as governmental and public authorities – All Things Energy Forum is the largest energy event of its kind, and boasts significant market influence.

EU Green Deal and Covid-19’s impact in the spotlight

The EU Green Deal and Covid-19’s impacts, as well as historical changes are amongst the highly interesting topics on the agenda for discussion over the three days of the Forum. An array of highly regarded speakers have been invited to participate in such discussions, including the likes of Mrs Natasa Pilides (Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Cyprus), Mr Jacky Chen (President of Huawei Digital Power Technologies’ CEE and Nordic Region), Dr Constantine Botopoulos (former MEP, and former Chairman of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission) and Dr Julije Domac (President of the FEDARENE, and Special Advisor for Energy and Climate to the President of the Republic of Croatia, Belgium). 

The EU and its associated laws attempt to secure that all sectors of the economy and society will contribute to the target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and set a specific framework. However, has the Covid-19 crisis brought up a political dilemma that impacts the Green Deal? And how can the recovery both during and after the pandemic be ensured and accelerated towards achieving a climate-neutral EU by 2050?
